The city of České Budějovice is situated in the southern part of the Czech Republic and with its 100 000 inhabitatnts, it is the largest city of the region. It is also considered as a cultural and educational centre of South Bohemia. Proximity of several exceptional historical sites creates a perfect conditions for tourist activities as well - UNESCO heritage sites in Český Krumlov (25km), Holašovice (15km) or Telč (75km).
The site is accessible from Prague by bus o train (approximately 2 hours), it is situated on the main road (E55) from Prague to Austria. There are two main airports available in the neighborhood: Prague airport (120km) and Wien airport (Austria - 160km)
How to get from the Prague airport:
From the airport, take the bus "airport express" that goes directly to railway station (last stop). The bus leaves from the airport every 30minutes. Bus station is just in front of the arrival hall. You will buy the ticket at the driver for 60CZK. At the railway station, follow blue information tables, where are informations in english. Train ticket to Ceske Budejovice should cost 230CZK. It is also possible to pay by card, but it is necessary to say it in advance.
